What we collect
OpenSports stores the information needed to run school sport events: school details, organiser accounts, athlete rosters, event entries, timing data, results, practice times and audit logs. If you request access from the public website, we collect your name, email address, school name and message.
How we use it
We use this information to set up schools, manage meets and practices, invite school administrators and officials, publish results, support users, and keep a traceable record of corrections and account activity.
Email and analytics
OpenSports sends service emails for access requests, account invitations and password resets. The public website uses Google Analytics to understand page traffic and improve the service.
Who can see data
Super administrators can manage the platform. School administrators can see information scoped to their school. Public result pages may show athlete names, schools, times and placings for published events.
